We are learning characteristics of different groups of animals. We worked in teams to learn about one type of animal and created a group photostory to teach each other what we learned.

Our deer project will be part of a Smithsonian in the Classroom publication int the fall of 2011. Read about it here:

It may be summer, but the trees we banded needed to be measured and that's all the excuse we needed to gather for lunch and hide-n-go-seek in the arboretum!

Our friends in Beirut singing our favorite song by our friend, John Farrell. We shared so much learning together for the past two years, we will miss our friends, but we all learned this wonderful lesson...
